Founding Principal/Executive Director
Ms. Franceschi is a 2005 graduate of James Madison University where she double majored in Marketing and Management. Originally from Virginia Beach, Virginia, she moved to Atlanta in 2005 as a Teach For America corps member and began her teaching career in 1st grade at Atlanta Public Schools. After five years in the classroom, Ms. Franceschi went on to work for The New Teacher Project as a Site Manager in Memphis, Tennessee. Later, she moved back to Atlanta and spent three years working as a founding Dean of Academics at a local charter school before opening Latin Grammar School in 2015. Ms. Franceschi's favorite part of being an educator is seeing the scholars smile and develop a love for learning at a young age.
Dean of Academics
Mrs. Loucas is a 2005 graduate of Florida A&M University where she received a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education. She also holds a master's degree in Early Childhood Education from The University of Georgia. Mrs. Loucas began her teaching career in Clayton County Public Schools where she taught 4th and 5th grades for six years. She then transitioned to a charter school where she taught reading, science, and social studies to students in grades 5 through 8 for four years. In 2015, she became the founding Dean of Academics of Latin Grammar School. Mrs. Loucas' favorite part of being an educator is providing scholars with the opportunity to break stereotypes and forge their own paths to success.
Dean of Students
Mr. Taylor is a 2009 graduate of Southern University at Baton Rouge where he received a bachelor's degree in history. He also holds a MAT in Special Education from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette and an Ed.M. from the Columbia University. Mr. Taylor began his teaching career in Louisiana where he taught English and Special Education. He has also worked as a reading interventionist, transition coordinator, and data manager. In 2017, he became the Director of Student Support Services at Latin Grammar School. Mr. Taylor firmly believes that education is the foundation upon which success is erected. It is this belief that gives him the drive to support all scholars in their quest toward their most rigorous outcomes.
